Vancouver, BC - September 26, 2016:  Golden Peak Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: GP) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that
--->, further to its news release dated September 20, 2016, the Company has closed a non-brokered private placement financ
--->ing (the "Private Placement") for total gross proceeds of $499,998.96.
 
The Company has allotted and issued 4,166,658 units (the "Units") at a price of $0.12 per Unit.  Each Unit is comprise
--->d of one common share and one transferable share purchase warrant, with each share purchase warrant entitling the hold
--->er to purchase one additional common share of the Company until September 26, 2018, at a price of $0.20 per share.
 
The Company intends to use the proceeds from the Private Placement for general working capital.  All securities issued
---> under the Private Placement are subject to  four-month and one-day hold periods expiring on January 27, 2017.
