RAY ROLAND PASSES AWAY
Former Goldbank Mining Corp. director and chief financial officer Raymond (Ray) Roland has suddenly and unexpectedly passed away.
Mr. Roland joined Goldbank as a director and chief financial officer in March, 1997, after his retirement from Royal Bank
of Canada, where Mr. Roland had been senior manager, financial institution banking, Western Canada,
with Royal Bank. Mr. Roland left Goldbank in July, 2012, to focus on his private business interests in
Whistler, rejoining Goldbank as a director in July, 2021. Mr. Roland's private companies provided
management and exploration services to Goldbank.
Mr. Roland will be remembered for his much appreciated wisdom, enthusiasm, dedication, integrity and
positive attitude as well as for his many contributions to Goldbank in his various capacities as
director, chief financial officer, investor, as well as shareholder and corporate administrative and exploration services provider.
Goldbank also announces the grant of a total of 12 million stock options to acquire common shares
of the company exercisable at 35 cents per share for a five-year term. The options are granted
pursuant to the company's stock option plan and are subject to applicable regulatory hold periods.
Goldbank Mining is a Canadian exploration company actively exploring for gold in the
historic Klondike placer goldfields near Dawson City, Yukon, Canada. The Klondike placer
goldfields are one of the most prolific placer goldfields in the world reportedly producing more than
20 million ounces of placer gold. Goldbank is searching for the hard-rock source of the Klondike's
placer gold on its Leota gold project.
