Mr. Frank Callaghan reports
GOLDEN CARIBOO FILES NI 43-101 TECHNICAL REPORT WITH INAUGURAL MINERAL RESOURCE ESTIMATE
Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has filed an independent National Instrument 43-101 technical report on SEDAR+ today titled
"NI 43-101 Technical Report with Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate on the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property, Hixon, British Columbia"
dated Oct. 31, 2026.
The report supports the company's previously announced inaugural mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Halo-North Hixon zones located about 50 kilometres southeast of Prince George, near Hixon in central British Columbia.
The technical report was prepared by independent qualified persons Jean Pautler, PGeo, of JP Exploration Services Inc., and Sue Bird, PEng, of Bird Resource Consulting Corp.,
and have provided written consents to the filing of the technical report in the form and context in which it appears.
The technical report is available under the company's profile on SEDAR+ and on the company's website.
Company president and chief executive officer J. Frank Callaghan
stated: "Few discoveries reach the resource stage this quickly, with just 24 drill holes.
What began as the Halo discovery and recently recognized by the B.C. Geological Survey as a significant mineral occurrence, the Halo and North Hixon zones have now been independently validated as a substantial mineralized system with considerable room for growth. The NI 43-101 provides a strong foundation as we continue to explore the multiple trends and work towards expanding and upgrading the resource."
The technical information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by Sue Bird, an independent consultant commissioned by the company. Ms. Bird is a professional engineer (PEng) registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of the Province of B.C. (APEGBC) and licensed by Engineers and Geoscientists B.C., and is a qualified person with respect to National Instrument 43-101.
About Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd.
Golden Cariboo Resources is unlocking the potential of one of British Columbia's most historic gold districts through exploration of its Quesnelle gold quartz mine property. Encompassing 96,183 hectares (237,673 acres) along a prolific 90 km gold trend that has yielded gold from more than 101 placer creeks, the property occupies a strategic position bordering and partially interwoven with Osisko Gold Group Inc. (NYSE: OGG/TSX Venture Exchange: OGG) Cariboo gold project and lies along the highly prospective Spanish and Eureka thrust fault corridor.
Just four kilometres northeast of Hixon, the 789-hectare (1,950-acre) permitted portion of the property hosts the historic Quesnelle quartz gold-silver deposit, originally discovered in 1865 during the Cariboo gold rush. While early mining focused on a relatively small 150 m by 150 m (less-than-six-acre) footprint at the Main zone, Golden Cariboo's ongoing drilling and trenching programs are demonstrating the potential for a much larger mineralized system extending well beyond the limits of the historic workings.
We seek Safe Harbor.
