                      Global Battery Metals Ltd. Provides Update on Annual General Meeting


Toronto   April 3, 2020   Global Battery Metals Ltd. (TSXV:GBML) (the "Company" or "GBML") provides an update
relating to the Company's upcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders scheduled for April 14, 2020 (the
"Meeting") in light of recent developments concerning COVID-19.

The Meeting originally scheduled to be held at 10:00 a.m. (Vancouver time) at 880-580 Hornby Street, Vancouver,
British Colombia has been moved to 1100-1111 Melville Street, Vancouver BC. The Company encourages all
shareholders to vote by proxy in advance of the Meeting date and not to attend the Meeting in person to minimize the
number of individuals present in response to the COVID-19 situation. Guests will not be permitted to attend the Meetin

The legal requirements of the Meeting will be completed, with no social reception or investor presentation. The Compan

will adhere to all Health Canada and Provincial restrictions and recommendations regarding public meetings, and social
distancing measures will be in place.
