BULLFROG GOLD SELECTS DRILLING CONTRACTOR FOR 2026 DRILL PROGRAM

Canada NewsWire

VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 1, 2026 /CNW/ -- Bullfrog Gold Corporation ("Bullfrog Gold") (TSX-V: FROG) is pleased to announce that it has engaged Major Drilling, for the fully permitted 2026 maiden drill program. Bullfrog Gold holds a 100% interest in the 10,050-acre South Bullfrog gold project located in the heart of the Beatty District in the Walker Lane Trend in Nevada, surrounded by AngloGold's Bullfrog, North Bullfrog, and Arthur development projects (Figure 1)1.

Bullfrog Gold's maiden drill program focusses on the high-priority Longtail and Shingleback epithermal gold targets and includes approximately 3,000 meters of planned exploration diamond drilling across 7 fully permitted drill pads (4 pads at Shingleback, 3 pads at Longtail). Drilling is expected to commence in Q4 2026.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Longtail and Shingleback targets fully permitted.
  • Maiden drill program of 3,000 meters from 7 pads during Q4 2026.
  • Major Drilling has extensive experience drilling the Beatty District.

Longtail Drill Target

The Longtail target is defined by widespread silica-kaolinite alteration (steam heated alteration assemblage) that is partially obscured by shallow cover with coincident pathfinder (arsenic-antimony) surface geochemistry (rock and soil samples) and favourably oriented damage zones (faults) which together make this target geologically analogous to AngloGold's Silicon deposit (Arthur Project, Figure 1)1. Exploration drilling at Longtail will test a resistivity feature which may represent silicification associated with a chargeability feature interpreted to represent subsurface sulphides extending from surface to approximately 400 meters depth (See Figures 1 and 2).

Shingleback Drill Target

The Shingleback Drill Target is defined by steam heated surface alteration (silica-alunite), favourably oriented brittle structures (Twin Shafts Fault) numerous workings, including activity up to 2014 at the Schoch shaft, favourable stream sediment geochemistry as well as an extensive IP-resistivity feature that is coincident with the intersection of the Twin-shafts fault and the Basalt fault (Figures 1 and 3).

About Bullfrog Gold

Bullfrog Gold holds a 100% interest in the South Bullfrog gold project consisting of 488 BLM claims covering 10,050 acres in the heart of the Beatty District. The district was consolidated between 2021 and 2025 by AngloGold through the acquisitions of Corvus Gold (US$371M), Coeur Sterling (US$150M), and Augusta Gold ($197M).1,2,3,4 South Bullfrog is centrally located between AngloGold's Bullfrog, North Bullfrog, and Arthur development projects, with gold reserves totaling 6 million ounces Probable (164.65mt at 1.14 g/t Au) and gold resources (excluding reserves) of 7.6 million ounces Measured & Indicated (345.24mt at 0.69 g/t Au) and 8 million ounces Inferred (320.03mt at 0.78 g/t Au).1,5,6,7

South Bullfrog is drill permitted with five drill ready gold targets supported by historic workings, surface pathfinder rock and soil geochemistry, surface alteration, magnetic, electromagnetic and gravity geophysics, and favourable host rocks.
