EUROPEAN ENERGY ANNOUNCES NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

European Energy Metals Corp. has arranged a non-brokered private placement consisting of up to 5.35 million units at a price of 36 cents per unit for total gross proceeds of up to $1,926,000.

Each unit consists of one common share and one-half common share purchase warrant. Each warrant is exercisable for one additional common share at an exercise price of 75 cents for a period of three years following the closing of the private placement, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The company anticipates the majority of the private placement will be subscribed for by one strategic investor who will hold 10 per cent or more of the outstanding common shares of the company following closing.

All securities issued pursuant to the private placement are subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance. The company intends to use the net proceeds of the private placement for exploration work on its properties and for working capital. The closing of the private placement is subject to customary conditions of closing, including the approval of the TSX-V.
