The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Jan. 23, edition that following a tour of Filo Corp.'s flagship Filo Del Sol project on the border of Chile and Argentina, RBC Capital Markets analyst Sam Crittenden has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Crittenden raised his Filo share target to $30 from $27. Analysts on average target the shares at $30.38. Mr. Crittenden says in a note: "Filo has identified what could be a generational copper asset which continues to grow with further drilling. The site visit put the scale in context which reinforced our view that this can be a big mine, likely operated by a big miner, which we think makes Filo a potential takeout candidate. We rate the shares 'outperform, speculative risk' and increase our price target as we have increased our resource estimate based on recent drilling success." The Globe reported on March 31, 2023, that CIBC had commenced coverage on Filo with an "outperformer" call. It was then worth $23.24. The Globe reported on Jan. 9, 2024, that National Bank Financial analysts Shane Nagle and Rabi Nizami had reaffirmed their "outperform" recommendation for Filo. It was then worth $20.60.
