FJORDLAND ANNOUNCES FINANCING WITH GOLD FIELDS

As reported in Stockwatch news dated May 26, 2010, Gold Fields Netherlands Services BV, a member of the Gold Fields Limited group of companies, is completing a private placement of $300,000 to purchase 1,818,182 common shares of Fjordland Exploration Inc. at a price of 16.5 cents per share. The financing is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

Proceeds from the financing will be used for exploration work on the company's projects and for general working capital.
