Ms. Kelly Creelman reports

FIDELITY INVESTMENTS CANADA LAUNCHES 4 NEW ACTIVELY MANAGED ETFS, NOW TRADING ON CBOE CANADA

Fidelity Investments Canada ULC has returned to Cboe Canada with the launch of the Fidelity Active exchange-traded funds. The launch includes one new ETF and three ETF series of existing mutual funds, available for trading today under the symbols FINN, FCGC, FCLC and FCGS, respectively.

"Fidelity is excited to expand our offering in the ETF space, to support advisers and investors looking for products that combine the flexibility of an ETF structure with the strong long-term performance potential of active management," said Kelly Creelman, senior vice-president, products and marketing, Fidelity. "We're proud to partner with Cboe Canada, a leader in the ETF market, in our shared efforts to expand access to innovative investment products for Canadians."

The Fidelity Active ETF/ETF series now trading on Cboe Canada include:

Fidelity Global Innovators ETF (FINN) -- seeks to identify and invest in companies across the globe that are positioned for growth through the application of innovative and disruptive technologies, or inventive new business models. It invests in equity securities directly or indirectly by investing in Fidelity Global Innovators Investment Trust.

Fidelity Greater Canada Fund (FCGC) -- seeks to offer investors long-term capital growth by identifying value in out-of-favour stocks, and investing in equity securities of Canadian companies, with the flexibility to invest up to 49 per cent in foreign markets.

Fidelity Canadian Large Cap Fund (FCLC) -- focusing primarily on equity securities of large capitalization Canadian companies, this fund aims to deliver investors long-term capital appreciation through a value-oriented strategy, investing in companies the manager considers to be undervalued, with a focus on weathering market volatility.

Fidelity Global Small Cap Opportunities Fund (FCGS) -- through investment in small-capitalization companies across global markets, this fund intends to provide investors with long-term capital growth through selection of equity securities that the portfolio manager believes are mispriced due to the market's underreaction to positive change or overreaction to negative change.

The four new funds join six Fidelity ETFs already listed on Cboe Canada. Investors can trade units of Fidelity ETFs through their usual investment channels, including discount brokerage platforms and full-service dealers.

"It is always an exciting occasion to welcome an issuer back for additional ETF launches," noted Jos Schmitt, president and chief executive officer of Cboe Canada. "Today, Fidelity now has 10 ETFs listed on Cboe Canada. It is a testament to our exceptional service, and Fidelity's return also aligns with Cboe's commitment to supporting innovative asset managers and investment solutions. We are proud to have partnered with such a reputable fund issuer for years now and look forward to championing Fidelity's continued innovation over the years to come."

Cboe Canada is home to over 250 unique listings, including ETFs from Canada's largest ETF issuers, Canadian Depositary Receipts (CDRs), and some of the most innovative Canadian and international growth companies. Cboe Canada consistently facilitates close to 20 per cent of all volume traded in Canadian ETFs and close to 15 per cent of all volume traded in Canadian-listed companies.
