Notification of a Change in Shareholding

EMED Mining Public Limited ("EMED Mining" or the "Company") has been notified that on 27 August 2014 Yanggu Xiangguang Copper Co. Ltd ("XGC"), through its wholly owned subsidiary Hong Kong Xiangguang International Holdings Limited, purchased 27,039,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 7.0175p. Following this purchase, XGC holds 205,865,181 ordinary shares in EMED representing 14.34% of the issued capital of the Company.
