Elemental Minerals Ltd. will begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange as a mining issuer at the open on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, according to the TSX. As in an Aug. 10, 2011, prospectus, Elemental will sell up to 42.47 million shares at $1.26 each, raising up to $53,512,200 under its initial public offering. The company has granted the underwriters an overallotment option to buy up to 15 per cent of the number of shares sold under the IPO at the same price for 30 days. The exchange says the company's shares have been trading on the Australian Securities Exchange since Sept. 21, 2005. The company plans to list 261,065,753 shares, with 215,855,608 being issued and outstanding, and 45,210,145 reserved for issuance under the IPO.
The TSX reports the company holds a 93-per-cent interest in the Sintoukola potash project through a partly held subsidiary, Sintoukola Potash SA. The project, located in the Republic of Congo, is at an exploration stage.
