The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Dec. 10, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Shane Nagle is sticking with his "outperform" call on Elemental Royalty. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Nagle gave his share target a $2.50 boost to $30. Mr. Nagle says in a note: "The recently closed merger with EMX improves Elemental's near-term growth outlook and adds additional scale. With access to low-cost forms of capital from their largest shareholder (tether), we continue to see an opportunity to further diversify the portfolio through future asset acquisitions and/or continued consolidation of the junior royalty space. The ability to return excess cash to shareholders, and advancement of projects on key royalties like Timok, Karlawinda and Caserones should support a rerating from its currently discounted 0.95 times NAV multiple to at least that of Junior peers at 1.13 times." The Globe reported on Oct. 23, 2024, that Mr. Nagle had reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Elemental. The shares could then be had for $1.23.
