EVERKIND LAUNCHES PILOT PROGRAM WITH FREEPORT RECOVERY GROUP AND TWELVE MILE RECOVERY TO SUPPORT ONTARIO'S ADDICTION RECOVERY CONTINUUM OF CARE

Everkind Wellness Inc. has signed a pilot program services agreement. The pilot will make Everkind's AI (artificial intelligence) wellness platform available to all current staff of Freeport and Twelve Mile Recovery, as well as to program participants across Twelve Mile Recovery's full continuum of care -- from residential treatment, through a six-week postdischarge program, to outpatient and alumni support.

Twelve Mile Recovery combines evidence-based clinical treatment with a lived-experience-informed approach to addiction recovery across two St. Catharines campuses. Founded by two people out of their own recovery, the organization runs 29 beds across two locations, both accredited by CARF International. Its continuum is designed so that clients move from residential treatment into a six-week post-discharge program and on into virtual outpatient care and lifetime alumni support, without transferring between providers -- all co-ordinated on a purpose-built clinical and aftercare platform the organization developed in-house.

Everkind provides guided journalling, personalized meditation, and acts as an intelligent companion that learns and adapts with each user over time -- offering a private, low-barrier way for staff and program participants to care for their emotional well-being every day. The platform is grounded in evidence-based practices and is designed to complement, not replace, the clinical treatment, counselling and peer support already in place across Twelve Mile Recovery's continuum of care. Use of the platform is entirely voluntary, and is not a condition of admission, treatment or discharge.

Freeport will also receive access to Everkind's business dashboard, providing administrative oversight and deidentified, aggregate reporting on platform engagement. Consistent with Everkind's privacy-first approach, no individually identifiable user data is shared with Freeport, and no program participant's platform usage is used in connection with any treatment, discharge or continuing-care decision.
