Engineer Gold completes 2026 sampling at TAG

2026-11-03 15:20 ET - News Release

Mr. Spiro Kletas reports

ENGINEER GOLD MINES COMPLETES 2026 DRILL CORE SAMPLING AT TAG

Engineer Gold Mines Ltd. has completed the 2026 infill diamond drill core sampling program at the TAG property, part of its 100-per-cent-owned Engineer gold project, located 30 kilometres southwest of Atlin in northwestern British Columbia.

Five hundred thirty-eight infill diamond drill core samples, totalling 685 metres from 20 holes, were selected for this initial sampling phase. Samples are being shipped to MSA Labs in Prince George, B.C., for analyses for gold-silver by photon assaying, plus multielement ICP. Continued sampling in 2027 will be contingent upon results from this initial phase. The compiled drilling data will then be modelled to generate diamond drill targets for 2027 designed to facilitate the completion of a resource estimate at TAG.

From 2006 to 2008, CZM Capital Corp. diamond drilled 69 holes at TAG, totalling 11,524 metres along a prominent six-kilometre gold-silver-bearing structure named the 025FZ (Fekete and Simper (2009), Fekete and Skinner (2007), ARIS reports No. 30931 and No. 29581)) (see news release dated Aug. 25, 2026).

Earlier in 2026, the company completed a review of the historical diamond drilling results and deemed the project to have merit for continued exploration including infill drill core sampling. Several of the key intersections have gaps within or adjacent where no samples were taken although the rock units are lithologically the same with similar quartz veining and stringers as seen in the sampled intervals.

The qualified person has reviewed all the available drill logs, sample intervals, and assay certificates from assessment reports and company files, as well as examining the drill core stored on site. Although the QP cannot verify the historic information, the programs were carried out in a professional manner using standard industry practices and are deemed to be reliable to guide future exploration work at TAG.

Linda Dandy, PGeo, is an independent qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, and has reviewed and approved the technical content in this news release.
