EAST AFRICA METALS ANNOUNCES A.G.M. RESULTS

East Africa Metals Inc. has released voting results from its annual meeting of shareholders held today in Vancouver, B.C.

A total of 54,766,599 common shares representing approximately 26.81 per cent of the company's issued and outstanding common shares were voted in connection with the meeting. East Africa's shareholders voted overwhelmingly in favour of all items of business, including the election of each director nominee, as follows:

  • Dr. Jingbin Wang: 99.41 per cent;
  • Andrew Lee Smith: 99.75 per cent;
  • Dr. Antony Harwood: 99.17 per cent;
  • Sean Waller: 99.99 per cent;
  • David Parsons: 99.99 per cent;
  • Zhen Liao 99.99 per cent.

East Africa's shareholders voted 99.99 per cent in favour to appoint Baker Tilly WM LLP as auditor of the company.

About East Africa Metals Inc.

The company's principal assets include a 30-per-cent net profits interest in the Mato Bula and Da Tambuk mines (collectively Adyabo property) and a 70-per-cent project interest in the Harvest polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide exploration project in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. In addition, the company has a 30-per-cent net streaming interest in the Magambazi mine in the Tanga region of Tanzania.
