Dynasty completes five drill holes in South Pelham area

2026-08-06 19:36 ET - News Release

Ms. Ivy Chong reports

DYNASTY COMPLETES FIRST FIVE DRILL-HOLES IN SOUTH-PELHAM AREA

Dynasty Gold Corp. has provided an update on the progress of its drill program on its 100-per-cent-owned Thundercloud property in Northwestern Ontario, a region renowned for its numerous gold deposits. Drilling was targeted at induced polarization (IP) chargeability anomalies, which are typically indicative of sulphide, particularly pyrite, mineralization within the South-Pelham area. Some fine grains, interpreted to be gold, were observed within a vug in hole DP26-01 at 100 metres (m), which was drilled at a 180-degree azimuth and a minus-52-degree dip, with a collar location 30 m northwest of TC24-06. Drilling intersected multiple zones of weak sulphide mineralization consisting of pyrite, pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite within a sequence of pillow-basalt, mafic breccias and fine-grained sediments, periodically cut by medium-grained quartz-feldspar porphyry dikes.

"Subject to verification by assay, we are pleased to see possible gold grains in the first drill hole during drilling in the South Pelham area. This is the first encounter with possible visible gold in the South Pelham target area, which is one kilometre south of the Pelham resource. Visible gold has been observed in several core sections in the Pelham zone. The Thundercloud project hosts numerous areas of gold-bearing sulphide mineralization, with extents that have yet to be fully determined," commented Ivy Chong, president and chief executive officer.

The five drill holes within the South Pelham area targeted various IP chargeability anomalies that were proximal to gold-bearing mineralization either in surface trenches or historical drill holes. Drilling is expected to continue until fall. Higher-priority targets include testing downplunge extensions of Dynasty Gold's highest-grade gold chute and trend within the Pelham resource, as well as testing for a potential fault offset at the eastern end of the Pelham gold zone. Additional drilling may be conducted in the South Pelham area once assay results are received from the first phase of drilling.
