Dios Exploration to sell K2 property to Azimut

2025-07-03 15:07 ET - News Release

Ms. Marie-Jose Girard reports

DIOS SELLS K2 TO AZIMUT

Dios Exploration Inc. has entered into a binding sale and purchase agreement with Azimut Exploration Inc. to sell its K2 property adjacent to Azimut's Elmer property in Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Quebec, Canada.

Azimut will acquire 100-per-cent interest in 103 claims covering 54.3 square kilometres forming the K2 property in the western part of the Lower Eastmain Archean greenstone belt, for a cash payment of $120,000 and the issuance of 200,000 common shares of Azimut. Dios will retain a 2.0-per-cent net smelter return (NSR) royalty on the K2 claims, subject to a buydown of 1.0-per-cent NSR royalty for $3-million. The parties were dealing at arm's length. The agreement is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.

Focus on Heberto-Gold and Extents

Dios will focus on gold exploration of its flagship wholly owned Au33 property hosting Heberto-Gold discovery, which is easily road accessible approximately 130 kilometres more to the east in Lower Eastmain greenstone belt.

The Heberto-Gold major kilometre-scale system is located within a five-by-eight-kilometre highly anomalous gold-in-outcrop area, 50 kilometres south of Eleonore world-class gold mine and 20 kilometres west of Clearwater gold deposit.

Gold zones can be followed in strike and at depth. Gold is associated with felsic intrusions and fine-grained pyrite and magnetite and related to thick potassic-altered shear zones. Dios is looking for a world-class gold deposit. A review by specialists is under way to select targets.

Dios's historical 2015-2017 Heberto drilling results (see Oct. 23, 2024, release)

Hole 19 (3.65 grams per tonne gold over 13 metres) is 50 metres south of hole 1 (2.13 grams per tonne over 22.9 metres), hole 9 (two grams per tonne over 22 metres) and hole 10 (1.8 grams per tonne over 18.45 metres). A channel hit 5.18 grams per tonne over five metres.

Hole 19 is 112 metres west of hole 1 and 50 metres north of hole 6 (2.23 grams per tonne over 7.75 metres).
