DISTRICT ANNOUNCES TRADING ON OTCQB VENTURE MARKET

District Metals Corp. has qualified to trade on the OTCQB and has begun trading under the symbol DMXCF. District's common shares will continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol DMX, as well as on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the symbol DFPP.

Garrett Ainsworth, chief executive officer of District, commented: "We expect that trading on the OTCQB market in the United States will help increase the company's visibility to U.S. investors and potentially help improve liquidity to our shareholders and broaden our investor base.
