Mr. Mark Sumner reports
DAURA GOLD UPSIZES NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT TO C$3 MILLION
Due to strong investor interest, Daura Gold Corp. is upsizing its previously announced non-brokered private placement offering from up to 8,695,652 units to up to 13,043,478 units at a price of 23 cents per unit for gross proceeds of up to $3-million.
Each unit will consist of one common share of the company and one-half of one share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one additional common share of the company at a price of 37.5 cents for a period of 24 months following closing of the offering.
"We are very pleased with the level of interest in the financing and the support from both existing and new investors," said Mark Sumner, chairman and chief executive officer of Daura Gold. "The additional capital will further strengthen our position as we enter an active period of exploration, with phase II drilling at Cerro Bayo and initial drilling at La Flora in Argentina, while continuing to advance Antonella toward its planned phase I drill program in Peru. We appreciate the continued support of our existing shareholders and look forward to welcoming new investors as we execute on these upcoming catalysts."
The company expects to utilize the proceeds of the offering to advance its exploration activities in Argentina and Peru, including continuing exploration and planned drilling at the Cerro Bayo and La Flora projects in Argentina, continued advancement of the company's flagship Antonella project in Peru, and for general working capital purposes.
In connection with completion of the offering, the company will pay finders' fees to eligible third parties that have introduced subscribers to the offering. All securities issued in connection with the offering will be subject to restrictions on resale for a period of four months and one day in accordance with applicable securities laws. Completion of the offering and the payment of any finders' fees remain subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
