Mr. Jeff Allison reports
ALBERTA ANNOUNCES CARBON CAPTURE INCENTIVES
Delta Cleantech Inc. has noted that on the heels of the recently announced federal government $7-billion of funding for carbon capture projects, the Alberta government launched its new program of a 12-per-cent rebate on the capital costs of carbon capture projects. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith stated, "The incentive program is expected to help attract $35-billion ($25.80-billion (U.S.)) in capital investment and cost the province between $3.5-billion and $5.3-billion."
Jeff Allison, Delta president, commented: "The carbon capture space is getting well-deserved attention with the federal and provincial governments both moving forward with their carbon reduction programs. Delta and its clients are in a favourable position to take advantage of the rollout of many new anticipated carbon capture projects."
