VANCOUVER, Feb. 2, 2012 /CNW/ - Curis Resources Ltd. (TSX: CUV) ("Curis"
or the "Company") is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Dan
Johnson to Vice President, Environment and Technical Services of the
Company's U.S. operations.
"Dan is a tremendous asset to Curis' senior management team in Arizona,"
said Michael McPhie, President and CEO of Curis Resources Ltd. "Today's announcement is a clear recognition of his leadership and the
contributions he has made and continues to make to move the Florence
Copper project toward development."
A graduate of the University of Arizona with more than 20 years of
operational experience within the Arizona mining industry, Mr.
Johnson's expertise in major project development, hydrogeology and
project permitting provide a key foundation for advancing the Florence
Copper project in Arizona. In his new role, he will assume primary
responsibility for technical services and environmental matters
associated with the Phase 1 production test facility (PTF) program
currently under development.
Curis also announced today that Mr. Stephen Hodgson, Executive Vice
President of Engineering with Hunter Dickinson Inc. (HDI), will join
the Curis project management team to oversee work associated with the
completion of the Florence Copper project Feasibility Study. Mr.
Hodgson has more than 30 years of senior-level industry experience in
mine operations, development and project engineering. He has been
involved in evaluating, directing and coordinating detailed engineering
studies for advanced stage mineral development projects around the
world.

Arizona with a professional of Stephen's experience and
qualifications. His extensive experience will greatly assist the Curis
team in Arizona working to develop a world class in-situ copper

Curis further announced it has hired Ms. Megan Fuller as the Company's
Environment and Cultural Resources Advisor. Ms. Fuller is an
experienced anthropologist, and will be assisting with environmental
and cultural resource compliance activities at the site with the full
support of the Florence team.
Ms. Fuller holds an M.A. in Anthropology from University of Nevada, Las
Vegas. She has more than 13 years of experience working in cultural
resource management, encompassing all aspects of Class I - III
survey/inventories, data recovery, monitoring/salvage, and cultural
resource/historic literature reviews; including work for Fort Huachuca,
Tucson Electric Power, the Bureau of Reclamation and Nevada Department
of Transportation.
