Mr. Brian Bosse reports
WINTER DRILLING EXTENDS KNOWN MINERALISATION
Cupani Metals Corp. had some early success in its exploration campaign being conducted on its 100-per-cent-owned Blue Lake project.
The main objective of the program was to test the interpreted extension of the Blue Lake mineralization to the southeast within the high-potential corridor. The new geological interpretation was confirmed by the intersection of massive sulphides at the base of a subhorizontal ultramafic unit.
Cupani has drilled six holes for a total of 1,344 metres. The drilling program commenced on March 18 and was paused last week for goose hunting season until June, as agreed in advance with the Naskapi Nation of Kawawachikamach. A total of 803 core samples, including 10 per cent QA/QC (quality assurance/quality control) samples, has been sent to the ALS Global in Val d'Or for processing.
Four holes were drilled in the Blue Lake southeast sector. These holes all targeted combined magnetic and electromagnetic anomalies. At the base of the ultramafic units, massive sulphides with sharp contacts to lithologies were identified over lengths of up to two metres. Above the massive sulphides, the ultramafic rocks usually contain 5 to 20 per cent disseminated, net textured and blebby sulphides over thicknesses of up to 70 metres.
The furthest hole to date is 1.4 kilometres from the southern edge of historical deposit/lens named Blue Lake No. 2. This extends the footprint of known mineralization to the southeast. Cupani management now believes the entire length of this corridor (16 kilometres) could hold mineralization similar to, or better than, what is observed at the Blue Lake mineralized lenses (one to six). Cupani has chosen to keep the drill rig on site to resume drilling during the summer.
Cupani chief executive officer Brian Bosse offers the following comment about these initial results: "This first Cupani drilling program clearly confirmed that the mineralization extends to the southeast in an area that was never drilled properly. It demonstrates the validity of our new geological interpretation defining a subhorizontal shallow, easy to drill, high-potential corridor extending some 16 kilometres to the southeast from the known Blue Lake one to six mineralized lenses." Mr. Bosse will take questions on-line at 4 p.m. ET on April 30.
Analytical results are expected within the next few weeks and will be communicated in a further press release.
The first two holes of the campaign were drilled close to Retty Lake camp and was testing weakly mineralized peridotite at surface associated with magnetic and gravity anomalies (from the 2024 survey conducted for Cupani).

About Cupani Metals Corp.
Cupani Metals provides shareholders with long-term capital growth exposure by investing in mineral exploration properties. The company is listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol CUPA and on OTCQB under the symbol CUPIF.
Cupani's 100-per-cent owned Blue Lake copper-nickel-PGE (platinum group element) project in Quebec covers 682 square kilometres of exploration claims (260 square miles). During the 1980s certain sections of Blue Lake project were explored by La Fosse Platinum. They drilled hundreds of exploration holes, excavated a 350-metre (1,000-foot) adit, conducted geochemical, geophysical and geologic surveys, and metallurgy testing. The surface projection of discovered mineralization as well as historical drill locations are shown and comprise an area less than 10 square kilometres.
