                Centenera Files Amended & Restated Notice of Meeting and
                           Management Information Circular
Vancouver, British Columbia   Centenera Mining Corp. ("Centenera" or the "Company") - (TSXV: CT), announces
that the Company has filed an amended and restated notice of meeting and management information circular with
respect to its annual general meeting scheduled to be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 (the "Meeting"). The amended
notice of meeting and circular replace and supersede the notice of meeting and circular of the Company dated April
28, 2016.

The notice of meeting and circular have been amended to disclose that the record date for the purpose of determining
shareholders entitled to receive notice of, and to vote at, the Meeting is April 25, 2016. Due to a clerical error, of
which the Company was not aware of when the notice of meeting and circular were filed, the record date was
incorrectly disclosed therein as April 26, 2016.

The amendments to the notice of meeting and circular relate only to the record date disclosure and the amended and
restated notice of meeting and circular remain otherwise unchanged from the notice of meeting and circular that were
mailed to the shareholders.
