The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Purpose Energy Transition Fund will be delisted at the close on March 25, 2024. According to the TSX, the exchange-traded fund (ETF) will be terminated and all outstanding units of the ETF will be redeemed on March 28, 2024.
The TSX reports that holders of the ETF's units at the termination date will
receive the net proceeds from the liquidation of the assets of the ETF, after payment of, or providing for, all liabilities and obligations of the
ETF, on a pro rata basis. Payment of the termination proceeds will be made on or about April 2,
2024, through CDS Clearing and Depository Securities Inc. As the ETF's units trade in the book-entry system of CDS, unitholders
need not take any action with respect to receiving their termination
proceeds.
For more information, see the ETF's news release dated Jan. 26, 2024.
