CU INC. ELIGIBLE DIVIDENDS

The board of directors of CU Inc. has declared cumulative redeemable preferred share dividends, as shown in the attached table.

These dividends are eligible dividends within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada).

CU is a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian Utilities Ltd., an Atco company. CU is an Alberta-based corporation with approximately 3,700 employees and assets of $18-billion, comprising rate regulated utility operations in pipelines, natural gas and electricity transmission and distribution.
