The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Oct. 31, edition that CIBC World Markets analyst Luke Bertozzi is keeping his "outperformer" recommendation for Centerra Gold intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Bertozzi boosted his share target by a loonie to $21. Analysts on average target the shares at $17. Mr. Bertozzi says in a note: "Centerra delivered strong Q3 results, exceeding expectations on both EPS and FCF. However, a slight miss at Mount Milligan tempered the stock's upward move. The company has reaffirmed its 2025 guidance and continues to advance value maximization initiatives across its extensive portfolio. Centerra's project pipeline differentiates it from its peers and, in our view, remains underappreciated." The Globe reported on Feb. 25 that Desjardins's Allison Carson had reaffirmed her "hold" call for Centerra Gold. It was then worth $8.73. The Globe reported on March 20 that Mike Parkin, an analyst at National Bank Financial, continued to rate Centerra Gold "outperform." It was then worth $8.95. The Globe reported on Sept. 11 that RBC Capital's Michael Siperco had cut his recommendation for Centerra to "sector perform" from "outperform." It was then worth $12.41.
