The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday, March 12, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Dan Payne is keeping his "outperform" call on CES Energy Solutions intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Payne's share target advanced by $5 to $20. Analysts on average target the shares at $15.47. On Tuesday CES posted quarterly revenue of $664.5-million, a gain of 7 per cent sequentially and 10 per cent year-over-year. Mr. Payne says in a note: "Of note, and in support of continued earnings and value momentum, is the fact that these positive earnings trends are the product of multiple sources; a) Market share wins (i.e., in plays like the Haynesville where jobs can be up to 2x more intensive than that of the Permian), b) Recent new business wins (previously referenced large tenders that should begin to contribute in Q4/25), c) Long-term opportunities, and d) White-space (market share) left by the SLB/CHX transaction. Each of these should continue to contribute to top line growth and operating leverage in support of long-term earnings quality, free cash and return of capital."
