CAMBRIDGE, ON, April 23, 2012 /CNW/ - COM DEV International Ltd.
(TSX:CDV), a leading manufacturer of space hardware subsystems, today
announced that it has been contracted to deliver hardware for a
commercial satellite providing satellite TV and communications coverage
over the Americas. COM DEV will provide Ku-band passive microwave
equipment for a total contract value exceeding US$5 million. Work on
the contract will be carried out at the Company's facility in
Cambridge, Ontario with completion expected by March, 2013.
"This contract is an example of a longstanding customer placing an order
that includes certain equipment they hadn't bought from us in the past,
based on the excellent performance we can offer," said Mike Williams,

we are working to grow our market share in commercial communications
