The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, March 8, edition that Raymond James analyst Michael Glenn has elevated his recommendation for CCL Industries to "outperform" from "market perform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Glenn gave his share target a $4 boost to $78. Analysts on average target the shares at $80.73. Mr. Glen says in a note: "When CCL reported Q4 results on Feb 22, the company provided an outlook that we characterized as among the most favourable we have heard for some time. During our presentation with CEO Geoff Martin at Raymond James 45th Annual Institutional Investors Conference, this outlook messaging was strongly reinforced, and it is clearly drawing attention from investors. With that, we are upgrading the stock." The Globe reported on April 12 that Mr. Glen had lowered his recommendation for CCL Industries to "market perform" from "outperform." The shares could then be had for $67.98. The Globe reported on Feb. 27 that Stifel analyst Daryl Young had upgraded his recommendation for or CCL Industries to "buy" from "hold." The shares could then be had for $68.97.
