COLIBRI OPTION PARTNER ANNOUNCES POSITIVE RESULTS OF ONGOING BULK SAMPLE AT PILAR

Colibri Resource Corp.'s option partner, Tocvan Ventures Corp., has additional results from its continuing bulk sample testing at the Pilar gold and silver project in Sonora, Mexico.

Tocvan is in year 4 of a five-year agreement to earn an initial 51 per cent of Colibri's Pilar gold and silver project. For full details of Colibri's agreement with Tocvan, please see the company's news release dated Sept. 24, 2019.

In Tocvan's news release dated June 13, 2023, Brodie A. Sutherland, PGeo, reported the following highlights:

• Leaching process continuing; preliminary results confirm process actively recovering gold and silver;
• Gold and silver reported in initial testing of carbon filters;
• Solution samples assayed at two separate certified labs confirm grade;
• Fine fraction samples (to be used for gravity recovery and agitated leach tests);
• New samples range between 1.2 grams per tonne gold and 4.9 grams per tonne gold; weighted mean of 2.1 grams per tonne gold;
• Silver values range between five grams per tonne silver and 29 grams per tonne silver; weighted mean of 14.8 grams per tonne silver;
• Leach study returned 95-per-cent to 99-per-cent recovery of gold and 73-per-cent to 97-per-cent recovery of silver;
• Metallic screen results show 12.4 per cent to 14.1 per cent of the gold is coarse (plus 140 mesh).
