CAPITAN SILVER COMMENCES TRADING ON THE OTCQX MARKET UNDER SYMBOL "CAPTF"

OTC Markets Group Inc., operator of regulated markets for trading 12,000 U.S. and international securities, has qualified Capitan Silver Corp. to trade on the OTCQX Best Market. Capitan Silver has upgraded to the OTCQX from the OTCQB Venture Market.

Capitan Silver will begin trading today on OTCQX under the symbol CAPTF. The company's common shares continue to trade on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada under the symbol CAPT.

U.S. investors can find current financial disclosure and real-time Level 2 quotes for the company on the OTC Markets website.

The OTCQX market is designed for established, investor-focused U.S. and international companies.
