Morton of Cariboo Rose reports
PORPHYRY COPPER-GOLD MINERALIZATION EXTENDED AT COWTRAIL PROJECT, BRITISH COLUMBIA
BRS
Resources
Ltd.
and
Cariboo
Rose Resources Ltd. have released results from a four-hole,
1,138-metre diamond drill program
completed in
August, 2025, at the Cowtrail project in south-central British Columbia.
Cowtrail
is
a
100-per-cent-Cariboo-Rose-owned,
4,717-hectare
porphyry
copper-gold
project
contiguous with the
Woodjam copper-gold porphyry project owned by
Vizsla Copper Corp. The 2025 program targeted the Lea Lake zone, a
southwest-trending mineralized corridor
associated with historic induced polarization anomalies and coincident magnetic features extending beyond the original 2007 discovery intercept.
Results
confirm
the
continuation
of
porphyry-style
copper-gold
mineralization,
which
remains
open along strike and at depth.
Copper
equivalent
(CuEq)
values
represent
the
combined
value
of
copper
and
gold
in
one
tonne
of
rock
divided by the value of copper in one tonne grading 1.0 per cent copper, using metal prices of $4.50 (U.S.) per pound copper and $3,500 (U.S.) per ounce gold, without consideration for metallurgical recoveries.
Historic drilling and geophysics define a coherent southwest-trending mineralized vector extending beyond
the
2007
discovery
hole.
Previous
significant
intercepts
include
0.15 per cent copper and
0.12
gram per tonne gold over 105.0 metres
(CT23-16 (2023)),
0.17 per cent copper and 0.11 gram per tonne gold over 40.0 metres
(CT2011-12 (2011)) and 1.16 grams per tonne gold over 18.3 metres
(07-DDH-1 (2007)
.
Cowtrail occupies a low-elevation, flat, coniferous-tree-covered landscape (much of it logged). Outcrop is very limited (probably less than 1 per cent of the total area). A series of stocks, dikes and plugs are confirmed by drilling over an area measuring approximately three kilometres by two kilometres by drill holes targeting induced polarization anomalies. These intrusive bodies include, diorite, syenite, quartz, monzonite and quartz feldspar porphyry. Many induced polarization anomalies have not yet been drilled.
An unpublished 1991 Cogema Canada Ltd. report documented mineralized biotite, diorite and monzodiorite
float
associated
with
a
strong
circular
total
magnetic
intensity
(TMI)
anomaly
several hundred metres farther along this same trend, indicating additional untested potential within the
corridor.
Cowtrail
has
been
under
option
to
BRS
Resources
since
2022.
BRS
may
earn
a
60-per-cent interest
by completing
$2-million in exploration expenditures, making
$200,000 in cash payments
and issuing shares equivalent to
$200,000
by
Dec. 19, 2027.
Analyses
were
performed
by
MSALABS
of
Langley,
B.C., using
ICP
multielement
analysis
and
30-gram
fire
assay. Standards and blanks were
inserted by the
company and additional samples by the laboratory and sampling was conducted at approximately three-metre intervals. Recoveries were generally greater than 85 per cent. Sample results were verified by the qualified person by comparing results from the standards against their posted values. The assay lab completing the work, MSALABS, is completely independent from BRS Resources or Cariboo Rose Resources. Drill core, 4.5 centimetres in diameter, was cut longitudinally using a diamond-tipped saw, with one-half going into the sample bag and half kept for future work.
