BRONCO RESOURCES REPORTS 55.0 G/T GOLD AT KODIAK ZONE EXTENSION WITH SEVERAL HIGH-GRADE GOLD SAMPLES ACROSS BROADER TARGET AREA
Bronco Resources Corp. has released
results from its 2026 soil geochemical and rock sampling programs
at the
Placer Mountain gold project, located in the Similkameen mining district, near Princeton, B.C.
Rock sampling returned up to
55.0 grams per tonne gold and
149.0 grams per tonne silver from the
Kodiak zone extension, an outcropping
65 metres north of the previously sampled outcrop. The 2026 program also located
multiple multigram gold results from quartz vein material across a broad targeting area.
Rock sampling highlights:
-
55.0 g/t Au and 149.0 g/t Ag at Kodiak zone extension, in outcrop;
-
6.43 g/t Au and 31.2 g/t Ag, 231 metres south of Kodiak zone showing;
-
4.74 g/t Au and 13.4 g/t Ag at the Northstar target, 439 metres north-northwest of Kodiak zone;
-
2.37 g/t Au and 9.3 g/t Ag at the Northstar target, 568 metres northwest of Kodiak zone.
Soil sampling results
Systematic
soil sampling identified widespread gold anomalism
across the Eastern Palace and Grizzle target areas. A total of
1,011 soil samples
returned fire-assay gold determinations, with results ranging from below detection
up to 334 parts per billion Au.
Of the samples analyzed, 234 returned
greater than or equal to five ppb Au, 75 returned
greater than or equal to 10 ppb Au,
13 returned
greater than or equal to 25 ppb Au and six returned
greater than or equal to 50 ppb Au.
The company is evaluating the spatial distribution and clustering of anomalous soil results,
together with its newly completed detailed ground magnetic survey and geological observations.
East of the Kodiak zone, prospective Nicola group rocks and associated dioritic intrusions are locally obscured by
younger, barren basalt assigned to the Princeton group. This younger cover unit is
interpreted to suppress or disrupt the surface geochemical expression of potential mineralization
hosted within the underlying rocks.
Despite this masking effect,
discrete gold and pathfinder anomalies are still present
within the covered area.
The company considers
these spot anomalies encouraging
as they may reflect
geochemical dispersion from structurally controlled, vein-hosted mineralization
developed
beneath the Princeton group basalt.
Dev Rishy-Maharaj, chief executive officer of Bronco Resources, commented:
"The 2026 program has substantially expanded the amount of systematic exploration data surrounding Kodiak. At Northstar, reconnaissance sampling has returned 4.74 g/t and 2.37 g/t gold in an area with no previous drilling, while additional high-grade gold-bearing quartz occurs outside the known Kodiak zone and widespread gold-in-soil anomalism continues across Eastern Palace and Grizzle.
"We can now integrate these results with detailed ground magnetics, lidar and the magnetic alteration relationships identified in Kodiak drill core. Our objective is to use these independent data sets together to identify the strongest targets for follow-up work and an aggressive fall drilling program."
Bronco believes the geochemical and geophysical programs detail
the most comprehensive technical data set ever assembled on the Placer Mountain gold project
and will provide the foundation for
planning the next phase of exploration and drilling.
Bronco Resources
holds a current multiyear area-based (MYAB) permit
for the project, with
additional drilling expected in Q4 2026.
Assay laboratory procedure
All analytical work was completed by
MSALABS, an independent ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory. Prospecting rock samples were analyzed for gold using the
CPA-Au1 photon assay
method together with
FAS-111
fire assay
and
IMS-230
multielement geochemistry. Soil samples were analyzed for gold by
FAS-111 fire assay with AAS finish,
together with
IMS-131
multielement geochemistry. The laboratory employs
rigorous internal quality assurance
and
quality control procedures,
including
certified reference materials, blanks and duplicate analyses
at prescribed frequencies to monitor analytical accuracy and precision. Individual analytical results are retained in the company's assay database.
Qualified person
R. Tim Henneberry, PGeo, technical adviser to the company, is the qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 who has reviewed and approved the technical data in this report.
