KELLY BURR FILES EARLY WARNING REPORT

Brascan Resources Inc. shareholder Kelly Burr has acquired an aggregate total of one million units of the company at a price of 3.5 cents per unit for an aggregate purchase price of $35,000 as part of a non-brokered private placement transaction conducted by Brascan. Each unit consists of one common share in the capital of the company and one transferable common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one additional common share of Brascan for a period of two years from the date of issuance at a price of seven cents per common share.

This disclosure is pursuant to the early warning requirements of National Instrument 62-103 -- The Early Warning System and Related Take-Over Bid and Insider Reporting Issues.

Following completion of the transaction, Ms. Burr holds 6,414,000 common shares and 2.2 million warrants representing approximately 13.23 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares (or 8,614,000 common shares representing approximately 16.99 per cent of the issued and outstanding common shares on a partially diluted basis assuming exercise of all warrants held by Ms. Burr).

Ms. Burr holds the securities for investment purposes. Ms. Burr's future holdings in securities of the company may increase or decrease in accordance with applicable securities legislation and in consideration of various factors, including, but not limited to, investment criteria, market conditions and as circumstances warrant.
