BONANZA MINING CORPORATION ANNOUNCES CORPORATE CHANGES
Chris Graf has been appointed and has rejoined the board of directors of Bonanza Mining Corp.
Mr. Graf had tendered his resignation on Aug. 1, 2025, but certain personal health issues were resolved later in the month, which permitted Mr. Graf to rejoin the board.
Mr. Graf graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1974 with a degree in geological engineering and has been active for over 40 years, conducting mineral exploration programs in British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon and northern Mexico. He has been active in the area of northwestern British Columbia since the 1980s, and, in 1983, he staked the Kerr claims on an unexplored area of promising porphyry copper-gold mineralization at Sulphurets Creek in northwestern B.C. Since the discovery of the Kerr property, Seabridge Gold Inc. has conducted several drill programs exploring the Kerr deposit and has outlined measured and indicated resources of 384 million tonnes containing 2.7 million ounces of gold, 14 million ounces of silver and 3.4 billion pounds of copper, and inferred resources of 2,589 billion tonnes containing 22.8 million ounces of gold, 142 million ounces of silver and 19,852 billion pounds of copper.
In 2011, Mr. Graf was the recipient of the Frank Woodside past presidents award for distinguished service to the mineral industry from the B.C. and Yukon Chamber of Mines, now known as AME B.C. Mr. Graf's expertise will be invaluable to the company in exploring the MC claims.
