The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Sept. 22, edition that BMO Capital analyst Devin Dodge continues to rate Brookfield Infrastructure Partners "outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Dodge trimmed his unit target for Brookfield Infrastructure to $42 (U.S.) from $43 (U.S.). Mr. Dodge says in a note: "Brookfield Infrastructure's investments are performing well, and the outlook for capital deployment is positive. Though the recent upward shift in longer-term interest rates has weighed on valuation and resulted in a modest decline in our target price, we believe the risk/reward is favourable and expect patience to be rewarded. In the interim, the yield is attractive, and there is room for distribution growth to edge higher." The Globe reported on April 14 that iA Capital Markets analyst Naji Baydoun was keeping his "strong buy" call for Brookfield Infrastructure intact. The units could then be had for $47.92. The Globe's reported on July 17 that Nick Szucs at Leith Wheeler in Vancouver favoured Brookfield Infrastructure. They said they believed that Brookfield Infrastructure was a good long-term bet. The units could then be had for $47.20.
