BIG GOLD ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT FINANCING

Big Gold Inc. is arranging a non-brokered private placement financing of up to 10 million units at a price of five cents per unit for gross proceeds of $500,000.

Each unit will comprise one common share and one non-transferable common share purchase warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of eight cents for a period of 18 months from the closing of the offering.

The net proceeds for the offering will be used to complete the company's recently announced exploration program at the Tabor project, northeast of Thunder Bay, Ont., and for working capital purposes.

In accordance with applicable Canadian securities laws, all securities issued pursuant to the private placement will be legended with a hold period of four months and one day from the date of issuance.
