BROOKFIELD RENEWABLE ANNOUNCES UPDATED GREEN FINANCING FRAMEWORK

Brookfield Renewable Partners LP and Brookfield Renewable Corp. have released an update to their Green Financing Framework to incorporate eligible investment categories in line with their strategy to invest in businesses and projects that support the transition to net zero.

The updated framework sets limits in accordance with the latest Green Bond Principles (2021) and Green Loan Principles (2023), provides for enhanced allocation and impact reporting, as well as provides for independent third party assurance on use of proceeds. S&P Global has provided a second party opinion report, which confirmed alignment with the principles.
