BELMONT RESOURCES TO CONDUCT GROUND GRAVITY SURVEY AT CRACKINGSTONE URANIUM PROJECT, SASKATCHEWAN

Belmont Resources Inc. plans to conduct a ground gravity survey over the company's 100-per-cent-owned Crackingstone uranium project, located approximately eight kilometres southwest of Uranium City, Sask., in the historic Beaverlodge uranium district. The company is finalizing arrangements with a qualified geophysical service provider to carry out the program.

Survey highlights:

• Approximately 2,500 planned gravity stations on a 50-metre-by-50-metre grid, covering approximately 253 hectares (2.53 square kilometres) of the property;
• Survey design integrates the company's existing airborne radiometric uranium/potassium ratio data together with all other available exploration data sets for the property, targeting coincident gravity, radiometric and structural anomalies along strike of the Black Bay shear zone -- the structural trend historically associated with four past-producing uranium mines -- to finalize high-quality drill target selection;
• Field program scheduled for the first week of October, 2026, with an estimated 10 to 14 field days.

About the survey

The survey will be conducted using digital electronic feedback gravity metres together with multiconstellation RTK GNSS receivers to establish precise station positions and gravity readings. Data will be corrected for earth tides, instrument drift, base shifts, latitude, terrain and free air effects to produce Bouguer gravity values suitable for identifying subsurface density contrasts associated with structural and alteration features relevant to uranium mineralization.

Belmont plans to integrate the resulting gravity data with the property's existing airborne radiometric survey and historic drill core data as part of the continuing evaluation and target generation program at Crackingstone, under the guidance of Ken Wheatley, the company's senior geological adviser for the project.

"This gravity survey is the final step before we put the drill bit to the ground at Crackingstone. By combining it with our full exploration data set, we'll be able to pinpoint the highest-confidence targets across a property that already boasts some of the strongest historic uranium showings in the Beaverlodge district, including grades up to 15.6 per cent U3O8. We believe Crackingstone has the potential to host a significant new uranium discovery, and this survey is the key that unlocks it," said George Sookochoff, chairman of Belmont.
