The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Sept. 24, edition that Acumen Capital analyst Trevor Reynolds raised his Black Diamond Group share target to $17 from $14.50, while maintaining his "buy" recommendation following the $165-million acquisition of Royal Camp Services. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Reynolds says in a note, "Overall, we view the acquisition as positive and expect the combined assets to provide Black Diamond Group with strong exposure to expedited major projects in Canada along with increased defence spending." The Globe reported on May 7, 2024, that Canaccord Genuity analyst Matthew Lee had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Black Diamond Group. The shares could then be had for $8.15. The Globe reported on Aug. 27, 2024, that Raymond James analyst Frederic Bastien had reaffirmed his "strong buy" recommendation for Black Diamond Group. The shares could then be had for $10.15.
