The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that CIBC Capital Markets analyst Stephanie Price has reaffirmed her "outperformer" call on BCE. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Ms. Price cut her BCE share target by a loonie to $38, which is 70 cents ahead of the consensus. Ms. Price rates Cogeco Communications "neutral." She cut her Cogeco Communications share target by $6 to $65. Analysts on average target Cogeco Communications shares at $69.44. Ms. Price rates Telus "neutral." She cut her Telus share target to $14 from $15. Analysts on average target Telus shares at $14.19. Ms. Price says in a note: "Q3 was a slower quarter amid ongoing immigration headwinds and the termination of activation fees, though the promotional environment was disciplined through back-to-school. We are forecasting flattish consolidated industry revenue and adjusted EBITDA. We are expecting a 0.9-per-cent year-over-year average industry wireless ARPU decline in Q3, flat sequentially from a 0.9-per-cent year-over-year decline in Q2, as we expect pricing action will not fully offset the lost activation fee revenue. Our estimate is 2.4 per cent above the Street on FCF, and we expect the sector will focus on FCF amid weaker top-line growth."
