Episode 12 Recap
The home cooks arrive at Origin North, the restaurant of MASTERCHEF CANADA's own judge, Claudio Aprile, and are charged with the ultimate, classic MasterChef Challenge: The Restaurant Takeover. Tammara and Pino are the team captains, following their victory in the last elimination challenge. But their tenure as leaders doesn't go well for long, as the food service is marred by delays and disappointment. Tammara's Red Team ultimately wins over the judges and Claudio's loyal diners, leaving Pino, Marida, and Eric to the dreaded Pressure Test - a donut dessert bake-off. Marida's treats turn out well, and it comes down to taste being the deciding factor between Eric and Pino's less visually appealing creations. Despite being messy on presentation, Eric's delicious donuts beat out Pino's, sending him home.

MASTERCHEF CANADA airs Mondays at 8 p.m./7 p.m. CT on CTV and CTV GO (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). Last night's episode is now available on demand at CTV.ca and the CTV GO app.
