AZARGA METALS APPOINTS MATT BOLU TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Azarga Metals Corp. has appointed Matt Bolu to its board of directors, effective Aug. 5, 2026.

Mr. Bolu is a professional mining and minerals engineer with diverse experience in the global minerals industry. He has over 49 years of continued experience in operations, engineering and design, technical audits, and due diligence studies of mineral processing plants and projects around the world. He started his career in the mid-1970s at the Ergani copper mine-mill-smelter complex and continued through to 1999 in various operating positions at Canada Tungsten, Uludag Wolfram and the Tanco tantalum-lithium mine. His long operating career also included Total Energold, Noramco's gold/silver mine and Imperial Metals' Mount Polley copper mine.

Mr. Bolu's consulting engineering career included Cominco Engineering Services and H.A. Simons (later Amec). Since 2000, Mr. Bolu has been the president of Bomenco Minerals Engineering, providing independent consulting engineering services to the global mining industry within a team of highly specialized experts.

Mr. Bolu has worked as an active participant in the design and development of numerous metal and mineral projects around the globe that have gone to commercial production, including copper, gold and silver, bismuth, tungsten and fluorspar.

Mr. Bolu holds an MSc in minerals engineering from the University of Birmingham, England, and meets the requirements for a qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101 rules.
