Brien Lundin, in the June, 2017, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says buy Alexco Resource Corp., recently $1.75. He previously said buy in December, 2016, at $1.80. A $1,000 investment then is now worth $971. In this brief update, Mr. Lundin says Alexco will soon close a $7-million private placement of 3.25 million flow-through shares at $2.15. (Note: Mr. Lundin's recommendation arrived before the financing closed on May 30, for total proceeds of $9-million including the overallotment option.) The company will use the proceeds to explore its properties in the Keno Hill silver district of the Yukon. Mr. Lundin has high hopes for exploration success and near-term production from Alexco. The stock remains a buy.
