The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 31, edition that Desjardins Securities analysts John Sclodnick and Jonathan Egilo continue to rate Atex Resources "buy." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Sclodnick and Mr. Egilo gave their share target a 10-cent boost to $2.30. Analysts on average target the shares at $2.35. The two analysts say in a note: "Atex Resources remains our top explorer pick -- alongside it having what we would consider peer-leading prospectivity due to the early-stage nature of the discovery. We also see a compelling valuation on the current resource." The Globe reported on Dec. 8 that Mr. Sclodnick and Mr. Egilo said they expected gold equities to "awaken" in 2024 with the price of the precious metal "surging." The analysts continued to rate Atex Resources "buy." The shares could then be had for 79 cents. The Globe reported on Jan. 5 that BMO Nesbitt Burns analyst Rene Cartier, touting a "large scale opportunity near major miners," commenced coverage on Atex Resources with an "outperform" recommendation. The shares were then going for 80 cents.
