The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Nov. 28, edition that Stifel analyst Michael Dunn has upgraded his recommendation for ARC Resources to "buy" from "hold." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Dunn hiked his share target ahead by $2 to $26.25. Analysts on average target the shares at $27.45. Mr. Dunn says in a note: "We continue to be of the view that ARC Resources boasts an asset base that is the envy of many large companies, given its relatively deep inventory of large scale, high quality condensate-rich well locations at Kakwa and Attachie, and its deep inventory of high quality natural gas drilling locations in NEBC. ... ARC provides attractive exposure to decades of high quality Montney inventory and Canadian condensate prices, as well as LNG prices in the medium term. Free cash flow should see a significant step up in 2025 and beyond when Attachie Phase I starts up." The Globe reported on Oct. 17 Mr. Dunn had lowered his recommendation for ARC to "hold" from "buy." The shares could then be had for $21.93. The Globe reported on Nov. 7 that RBC said ARC was on its "Best Ideas List." RBC maintained its "outperform" call. The shares were then worth $22.01.
