The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Sept. 20, edition that PI Financial analyst Devin Schilling rates Altius Renewable Royalties "buy" in new coverage. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Schilling set a share target of $14. Analysts on average target the shares at $12.36. The Globe says Mr. Schilling calls Altius "the next royalty king." Mr. Schilling says in a note: "We believe there is strong upside potential in Altius Renewable Royalties shares given the company's first mover advantage in the renewable energy royalty segment, robust growth profile, and discounted valuation. With Altius trading at an almost 40-per-cent discount to its peers we see the potential for an imminent rerating as the company further builds-out of its renewable energy royalty platform. ... We view ARR as an attractive renewable energy company that provides investors with a unique mix of defensive cash flow generation while also balancing a robust growth profile. We believe shares are significantly undervalued and anticipate a re-rate opportunity as the portfolio of royalty generating projects continue to grow helping to derisk our financial forecasts."
