ALTIPLANO CLOSES INITIAL TRANCHE OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Altiplano Metals Inc. has closed a first tranche of its non-brokered private placement of up to 10 million units at 10 cents per unit to raise up to $1-million in gross proceeds. In this close, the company has raised $200,000 through the issuance of two million units. Each unit consists of one common share of the company and one non-transferable share purchase warrant of the company. Each warrant will be exercisable to acquire one additional common share for two years from the closing date of the offering at a price of 12 cents per share.

Certain arm's-length finders received cash fees of $11,000 and 110,000 finders' warrants, issued on the same terms as the warrants in the offering. All the securities issued will be subject to resale restrictions until Dec. 31, 2023. The net proceeds of the offering will be used to support working capital requirements as the company transitions its production and sales process to the new processing facility at El Penon, and to further develop other assets.
