EXPIRY OF EXCLUSIVITY PERIOD.
Vancouver, B.C., Canada, October 22, 2014 - Amanta Resources Ltd. (the Company) announces that, further to its news re
--->lease dated August 28, 2014, the 60 day period of exclusivity granted to Mekong Minerals NL has now expired. Amanta ha
--->s informed Mekong that it will not extend the exclusivity period.  
On December 9, 2013, the Company announced that it had agreed to terms with Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corpora
--->tion (JOGMEC) regarding the purchase by Amanta of an additional 10% interest in the Luang Namtha project in northern L
--->aos.  The purchase was subject to Amanta securing a source of funding necessary to meet exploration commitments by no 
--->later than 60 days from December 2, 2013, which condition was not met.  Amanta and JOGMEC are continuing to explore op
--->tions for the Luang Namtha project.  As a result of the expiry of the exclusivity period with Mekong Minerals NL, Aman
--->ta is now pursuing other avenues available to it to refinance and restructure the company.    
Amanta Resources Ltd. is focused on mineral exploration and development in the Lao PDR and is currently exploring the 
--->Luang Namtha project under a Joint Exploration Agreement with Japan Oil Gas and Metals National Corporation (JOGMEC).
