ALPHA COPPER GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Alpha Copper Corp. has granted 2.25 million incentive stock options, with an exercise price of 27 cents per option, to certain directors, officers and consultants under its existing omnibus equity incentive plan. Four hundred thousand options issued to consultants are exercisable for a period of two years and will vest in six months. The 1.85 million options issued to directors and officers are exercisable for a period of five years and will vest immediately.
